Like those with infectious skin diseases under the old law we still avoid touching the spiritually unclean, but not Jesus. Jesus touched those that were unclean both physically and spiritually. He healed them. If we refuse to also touch and heal, through Jesus, those that are spiritually unclean it could lead to the worst sin of all - self-righteousness.
