In today’s instant world we often get what we want in a matter of seconds. This “got to have it now” mentality extends to our relationship with God. One of God’s characteristics, however, is that he works so slowly. Forty years for Him is nothing, but to us it is so significant. When you find yourself in the desert stay with God and don’t give up on Him. When we find we get to place where God is all we’ve got well find God is all we need.
